Hello! My name is Sierra Generette. I have always been interested in environmental science from a young age. When I first learned about environmental justice, it was because an EJ issue had taken place in my community. Once I dug deeper and did my own research on the matter I learned that environmental justice is an important issue that needs to be addressed more. The environment should be something that is preserved and protected, but instead it can be used to further marginalize communities. I want to be able to help someone become an environmental justice advocate so one day can be the change we need in the world.
