Climate Change
Participants will be introduced to climate change to get background information for the next lesson. The participants will learn about greenhouse gases and how they contribute to climate change. I will briefly explain how climate change is causing global warming and the factors needed to reduce it. This will help set the tone of how climate change and environmental justice are correlated.

Understanding Climate Justice
Participants will understand what climate justice is. This lesson will address how climate change and environmental justice link in different aspects. This lesson goes in depth on why climate justice is an issue and who it affects. It will also explain what actions are needed to mitigate climate justice effects on vulnerable populations.

Climate Justice Inequalities'
Participants will watch a video that explains how the black lives matter movement and climate justice are related. David Lammy discusses building a new movement to care for the planet for inclusion and support of Black and minority leadership on climate issues. He explains how there has to be global recognition that we can't solve climate change without racial, social and intergenerational justice.
