Lesson 1: Acknowledging Racial History of Environmentalism and Using Intersectionality as a Lens to Progress
Participants will be able to acknowledge the racial history within environmental spaces amongst the Black community (scholarship, discourse), identify different marginalized identities, and understand why the intersection of these identities will help create a framework to where environmental injustices can be addressed in a sustainable fashion. Participants will also be able to connect what they are learning with the impacts of COVID-19.

Lesson 2: Injustices in Activism and Green Spaces
Participants will be able to reflect and discuss the importance of being a Black Environmentalist, along with the struggles of being a Black Environmentalist. In addition to unlearning harmful misconceptions surrounding Black Folx's being in green spaces, and normalize and create space for Black Folx's in environmental spaces.
